Committees

ISCA’s standing committees operate interdependently and focus on critical areas of the association’s work:

  • Advocacy & Government Relations Committee
Leads ISCA’s advocacy efforts in partnership with the association’s lobbyists and external partners.

  • Membership, Awards, and Recognition Committee
Promotes member engagement and recognizes outstanding contributions to the profession.

  • Communications & Marketing Committee
Manages ISCA’s communications strategy, including website, social media, newsletter, and branding.

  • Conference Committee
Plans and executes the annual ISCA Conference, including keynotes, breakout sessions, and logistics.

  • Professional Development Committee
Coordinates in-person and virtual trainings for school counselors statewide.

  • Student Committee
Elevates the voice and engagement of current student members and pre-service counselors.

ISCA members interested in serving on a committee can reach out to the Executive Director or directly to the chair of the committee they are interested in supporting.
