Anita Townsley

Anita got involved with ISCA because she saw how ISCA promotes and supports school counselors. She grew up on a farm in rural Mahaska county and graduated from North Mahaska and attended Central College where she received her BA in Elementary education and later attended Iowa State where she earned her masters degree in professional studies - school counseling. She has lived in Toledo, Iowa the past 46 years where she has worked at South Tama Schools as a teacher and counselor. Outside of work she loves watching basketball and attending high school and college basketball games with her family. Anita has 2 golden retrievers, loves cattle and being with her family.
