Lacey Cherniss

Lacey became involved because she believes in the power of strong, comprehensive systems to support school counselors and the students they serve. She is currently a Counseling and Career Education Teacher Lead in the Indianola School District, following 12 years of experience as a middle school counselor. Lacey is passionate about helping each and every student recognize their potential and celebrates the growth that comes through overcoming challenges. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her children at their activities, attending concerts, and traveling.
