Maria Sulentic

Maria is in her 14th year as K-12 School Counselor for West Bend-Mallard, but lives in Algona and is originally from Dubuque. She became involved with the board to support school counselors, especially multi-level counselors who have diverse responsibilities while supporting students across grades and ages.  Creating counseling programming that meets students developmental needs and builds upon skills year after year is a professional interest of hers.  Outside of school, she loves to travel with her family, especially to National Parks or anywhere with a trail or mountain, and is completing a certificate in mindfulness.
