I was drawn to school counseling by the belief that every student deserves someone in their corner. A champion who supports them, advocates for them, and helps ensure equitable access to educational opportunities. As a student-centered professional, I am excited to continue advocating for students while learning and sharing stories of success from across Iowa. I chose to serve as ISCA’s Membership and Awards Operations Chair because I value the opportunity to recognize and celebrate school counselors who put students at the heart of their work.

I am a Professional School Counselor with a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision and am currently working toward my school administration license. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two boys and family, especially when we can get outdoors together.
