Theme: Shining Bright: 60 Years of School Counseling Excellence
As we celebrate six decades of Iowa school counseling, we’re evolving our conference format to better reflect the innovation, diversity, and depth of practice in our profession. This year, we’re offering three session types to give more counselors a voice and provide attendees with a richer learning experience:
Breakout Sessions (60 minutes) – Designed for school counselors and nonprofit partners, these counselor-led sessions spotlight practical strategies, field-tested tools, and data-driven approaches that support comprehensive school counseling.
Sponsored Sessions (60 minutes) – Limited spots available for organizations or companies to showcase a product, curriculum, or resource aligned with the ASCA National Model. A sponsor fee applies.
Poster Sessions – Perfect for counselors who want to share resources or data-informed initiatives in a visual, informal format. Posters should include evidence-based practices and be accompanied by handouts or takeaways.
